What We Do
The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools is the leading organization committed to advancing quality, growth and sustainability for the charter school movement. Our integrated approach to advocacy and national reach allows us to make significant impacts at both the federal and state levels.
We
speak and
advocate
for hundreds of thousands of students hoping for the chance to attend a charter school.
We
provide assistance to
state charter school associations
and resource centers, advocate for improved public policies, and serve as the united voice for a large and diverse movement.
We focus on
key policy priorities
like replicating and expanding high-quality charter schools, lifting arbitrary "caps" on charter growth, and closing the funding gap between charters and other public schools.

quality of public charter schools so that "charter" is recognized as a reliable brand
Clearing the legislative path for increased
growth so high-quality charter schools can meet parent demand
Securing the
sustainability of charter schools by moving toward fiscal equity in public funding, particularly for charter facilities
